Starting with a dream
In 2014, Pastor Ryan Fray felt called to plant a church focused on building a biblical community “one family at a time.” The vision was for a Gospel-Centered, Spirit-Led, and Mission-Focused church with relevant teaching, heartfelt worship, and honest friendships. After a year and a half of prayer and counsel, the name “Transformation Community Church” was given to them during a 2015 road trip, reflecting their desire to see Winnipeg transformed for God.
Launched on September 11, 2016, with a team of 35 people, the church aims to help people connect with God without letting structures and programs get in the way. Pastor Ryan and his wife, Rachelle, who serve alongside him with their son, Rohan, are passionate about developing leaders and planting life-giving churches, driven by their love for God and people.
